No-Sew Lavender Dream Sachets
Okay, so this isn't really a skin care recipe at all, but it’s such a simple and wonderful craft that I had to share. It’s perfect after a long, stressful day or those nights where sleep alludes you.
This is also a great project to do with your kids. Let them choose a few of the suggested essential oils and their own ribbon. They’ll love their “dream sachets,” and you’ll love how it helps your child wind down after a long day. (You should only give this dream sachet to older children though; little ones might try to eat the contents!)
No-Sew Lavender Dream Sachets
drawstring muslin bags
lavender buds
Optional: 6-10 drops lavender essential oil or a blend of essential oils (I suggest calming oils like chamomile, sweet orange, vanilla, benzoin, clary sage)
In a small bowl, mix lavender buds and essential oils until well blended. Place in a glass jar with a lid for several days to let scents blend. Remove from jar and place into muslin bag. Pull drawstring tight. You can add a pretty ribbon, if desired.
Place on your headboard, tie to your bedpost, or tuck into your pillowcase at night.
