Peppermint Chamomile Oatmeal Mask

This mask can be doubled or tripled easily and stored in a jar.  It has a long shelf life and can be prepared quickly.  Your skin will glow after use.

Want an easy way to add dried herbs?  Head to the tea aisle at your local grocery store.  For this mask, all you need is some peppermint tea and chamomile tea (you may already have some in your pantry!) 

Peppermint Chamomile Oatmeal Mask
    1 cup oatmeal
    2 tablespoons nonfat dry milk (or try buttermilk powder or goat's milk powder)
    2 teaspoons dried chamomile powder
    1 teaspoon dried peppermint, crushed

In a blender, mix oatmeal to a fine powder.  Transfer to a bowl.  Mix all ingredients until well incorporated.  Store mask in tightly covered container.  


To use:  Mix one tablespoon mask to approximately two tablespoons warm water.  Let set for two minutes.  Apply to face using circular motions.  Leave on 10-15 minutes.  Work off with a washcloth.  Rinse well.
 

Yield: approximately 18 treatments
