Super Simple Oatmeal Mask

Oatmeal masks are one of my all-time favorites.  They're perfect for all skin types, and are so easy and inexpensive to make.

The powdered milk gives the mask a creamier consistency.  This oatmeal mask base is great to use on its own, or you can add dried herbs, herbal tea, clays, and other ingredients.  What will you add to dress up your mask?


Super Simple Oatmeal Mask
1 cup uncooked oats
3 tablespoons nonfat dry milk (powdered milk)

In a blender, mix uncooked oats for approximately 30 seconds.  Transfer to bowl and stir in powdered milk.

To use, mix one tablespoon mask to two tablespoons warm water.  Let set for two minutes.  Apply to face and neck using circular motions.  Leave on 10-15 minutes.  Work off with a warm, moist washcloth.  Rinse well.

Yield: approximately 18 treatments
